Sterling was really excited Christmas Eve. We had my Aunt Chris and Uncle Rod over for dinner and opened some gifts. Sterling set out cookies for Santa and carrots for Rudolph. Then he went to bed and slept in until 9. Yep, our Christmas started at 9 and that is only because Grandpa Anderson made noise and woke him up.
Avalon got up early and had breakfast before presents.
Sterling was so excited. He loves to open presents. He got a little golf bag for his golf clubs. He got golf balls, toy cars, lots of games, a flying super monkey (very cool), a remot control car and lots of other fun stuff. He got a power wheels dump truck from us before we left home, too. He figured out how to drive it really well, really fast.
Avalon got a ton of electronic toys. She got her own laptop, a drum, piano, and stuffed animals. She is loving having her own toys. She is playing better than I have ever seen her.
Aaron and I had good Christmases too. The best part of Christmas is watching the kids enjoy everything. There was paper and boxes everywhere which Avalon thought was the most exciting part. Aaron got a lot of video games and stuff. I got wonderful fun gifts. The type of stuff that you don't buy yourself, but you enjoy so much.
Anyway, we hope you all had a great Christmas.
