Sterling has been working on learning to read. We found a book that is called "Teach your child to read in a 100 lessons". It teaches phonics and how to sound out words. Sterling does his lesson everyday and has learned a lot of different sounds. He also spends a lot of his time playing on a dirt pile in our backyard. He has a good imagination and really enjoys his driving his cars in the dirt. He is a funny kid and all boy. The other day he asked me if I wanted to smell his boy parts. He thought it was sooo funny.
Avalon has learned to talk a lot. She loves bikes, balls and dogs. She can say bike and ball and dog. When she sees a dog she also says "bark, bark". She is very polite and says "thank you" all of the time. She also loves her daddy very much and she always takes my phone and pretends to talk to her dad. She always starts with "Hi Daddy". She will say "March 2 3" and start marching. She also says "hot dog" and will sing the Mickey Mouse club Hot dog song. Well, she sings "Hot dog, diggity dog". She has learned a lot of other words and can say pretty much anything. She also knows pretty much everything we say to her and can respond by nodding yes or no. She insists on wearing clothes and shoes all of the time and loves accessories.
We took the kids to the park today and Aaron took some cute pictures.
Sterling loves to swing and I mean loves it. He really wants a swing set, but we don't have room in our yard.

Avalon climbed to the top of the monkey bars on her own. She is a daredevil. I'm worried that she may be a wild teenager.
