Thanks for the Best Birthday

Friday was my birthday and it was a great day. Aaron took the day off and he and the kids gave me a really cool new camera and a book on photography. That said, I will now apologize that the pictures on the blog will probably be pretty bad until I figure out the camera.

In the morning, we all went to the swap meet and walked around. For those of you in AZ who haven't been to the swap meet, you really need to go. They have some cool stuff and some fun Christmas ideas.

After Avalon's nap, we took the kids to the fair. It was great. We went through the commercial booth and found some fun Christmas gifts. Then we went to the petting zoo. Sterling got to stick his finger up a pig's nose. This was fun for him and gross for everyone else. Avalon saw a lot of cows witch made her happy. Then we had fair food and rode some rides. Avalon was really upset that she couldn't ride any of the roller coasters. She did get to ride the merry go round, though. Sterling loved all of the rides.

The kids loved the model train at the fair.
Avalon didn't trust the goats much.

Finally, we took some very tired kids home and none of us could walk the next day because our legs were soo tired.

Your pictures turned out great. I don't think you had anything to apologize about.
