Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Everyone!  We hope that you have all had a wonderful 2012.  We have been very blessed this year.

At the end of January, we closed on a house in Rigby Idaho.  It is a wonderfully cozy and homey place.

Shortly after purchasing our house, we started finishing the basement and the yard.  It took us a while, but the basement turned out great.  Oh and we love the yard, too.  For our Arizona friends, the house sits on a full acre and so it is a little like living at a park.

In June, we had a visit from all of the Anderson cousins.  We partied hard for a couple of weeks and were pretty tired after it was all done. We went to the zoo, Yellowstone Park, the sand dunes and hung out at the local park.  It had been a long time since we had all been together and it was wonderful.

At the end of July, Aaron's parents came to visit.  They had just returned home from a mission in the Philippines.  We had missed them a lot and it was great to see them again.  We spent time in the garden, went to the park and visited Yellowstone again.

On August 25th, we were blessed with the arrival of Quin Michael Russell.  He was 7 lbs 2 oz and 19.5 inches long.  He is the sweetest most patient baby and we love having him around.  He loves to smile and giggle.  He also really enjoys having his brothers and sister talk to him.  He will be 4 months old on Christmas Day and is growing and changing every day.

Sterling turned 6 in February and has grown up a lot.  In September, he started First Grade.  He has a great teacher and is doing really well in school.  Sterling loves to learn about new things.  He especially loves science and math.  Sterling enjoys building and inventing and always has a plan and a project.

Avalon turned 4 in March.  She is very maternal and enjoys being in charge of the boys.  She is also a big help with Quin.  Avalon started a ballet class in September.  She loves to dance and is looking forward to her recital in May.  Avalon loves art and is really good at drawing.

Truman turned 2 in July.  He is a handful.  He is a very rough and tumble, smart little boy.  He will tackle anyone or anything that gets in his way.  He loves to wrestle which is very frustrating for his mother.  He is also very opinionated on everything.  He even has a preference about what he wears.

We sure love and enjoy these little people.  We are so grateful that Heavenly Father has sent them to us.

We are very grateful for all of the love and support that we have received from all of you and we pray that you feel the love of Christ this holiday season.

Love,

The Russells - Aaron, Tallie, Sterling, Avalon, Truman and Quin

I can't believe how old and big your kids look! Congrats on the arrival of darling new baby Quin. I must say I am jealous of your awesome basement with all those shelves! So glad to see that the move seems to have gone fairly seemlessly-though we miss seeing you guys here from time to time. Merry Christmas!

You've been busy. Even with a new baby you've done so many things. Love your thrift store finds and projects.

Tallie,
I wanted to come visit at Christmas but we always run out of time. Too many people to see, but I would like to chat with you about something and I don't have your contact info. Could you email me at tonks5@frontier.com?
You know, if you want. . .

Tallie! I'm so glad we're in touch again after so long! It's fun to see my ME friends on Facebook. I enjoyed reading your Christmas update and catching up on what you've been up to. What a beautiful family you have!
