The first part of August, my brother Jeff and his family came to town. They had their son baptized up here so that family could be there. Jeff and his family live in Texas.
While Jeff was in town, we played hard. We went to Squealers which is a family fun center in Rigby.
We also went to Rigby Lake while they were here.
We also had family pictures taken.
Aaron turned 40 on August 9. For his birthday, Aaron and I got to have a date night without the kids. Then, the Saturday after his birthday, we had a mustache party and cake for him. The kids were very excited about the mustaches even though we couldn't come up with any games to go along with mustaches.
On August 25th, Quin turned 1. He was also taken off all heart medicine. He is just a healthy, happy, perfect little boy. Once he figured out what presents were, he unwrapped some that we hadn't even given to him yet. He was also very possessive of his presents.
At the very end of August, we went to the Eastern Idaho State Fair. It was a pretty fun fair. There was a huge variety of food. The petting zoo was nice because they didn't put you and all of your children in a pen with the animals. Instead, you could pet them through fences. They also had some pretty good rides.
