Since I don't write in my journal, then I have to write really strange things on my blog. So just to record these incidents for posterity.
Sterling loves family home evening. Monday night, we were trying to act out the story of the ten lepers. Sterling was playing Christ. Suddenly, he started running in a circle and we asked him what he was doing he told us that he was "running with Jesus." Then he started spinning and told us he was "spinning with Jesus." Then in the middle of pretending to be Jesus, he went off to "party" with the lepers who didn't come back to thank Jesus.
Avalon likes to imitate everything. The other day Aaron was taking apart our elliptical machine and Avalon had one of the screw drivers and was pretending to unscrew screws. She was sitting on the floor, patiently, twisting the screw driver and then moving to a different screw and doing the same. Of course, afterwards, she cut her mouth with the screw driver and now Aaron is in trouble with the pediatrician for letting her play with screw drivers.
Avalon also likes to talk on the phone or pretend to talk on the phone. The other day, Aaron called while Avalon was eating watermelon. Part way through the conversation, I looked over and Avalon was pretending to talk on her watermelon rind.
