Idaho and Uncle Klint

The kids and I went up to Idaho last week to visit my family and see my brother Klint who just got back from a mission to Atlanta, GA. The kids loved the mud and the rocks.

We also went to Tautphus park zoo which is a great zoo. It is small enough to get through in a couple of hours and big enough that it has all of the important animals. Sterling's favorite was the penguins. He pouted for quite a while because he wanted a pet penguin.

The kids were fascinated by the water fountain. Water fountains are always more interesting than animals.

These sheep were in the petting zoo. They were funny because they hate people and hide when anyone comes into the petting area. Great petting zoo animals, huh?

The petting zoo had a machine that you could buy goat food from. Sterling loves feeding animals. That was her favorite part.


This is Avalon checking out an albino ferret. Avalon loves animals, but always gives them a good two foot buffer.

Sterling helped Uncle Klint mow the lawn. He loved it.
