Update on Random Thoughts

Well, here is an update on the lizard issue. The lizard moved to our living room today. We know this because we were sitting in the living room with our home teachers when the cat went crazy trying to get behind our bookcase and hunting behind the TV. Suddenly, a large (5 inch long) dark gray lizard took off across our living room and into the kitchen. I screamed, a lot, but luckily, one of the home teachers caught it and freed it in the backyard. Ugh, I hate having uninvited creatures wandering the house. This is not the specific lizard, but it looked like this.

In other news, we normally keep Sterling in his room at night. We have a child safety lock on his door to keep him from wandering the house. Well, last night he escaped. Apparently he wandered downstairs and did something downstairs in the middle of the night and then he went back to bed. Then he got up very quietly this morning and locked the cat in his room. During the next little while he seems to have played downstairs and in the spare bedroom upstairs. We are not sure what he was up to, but he was very quiet. We keep a monitor in his room and we didn't hear anything. The whole thing makes me laugh because I can see my very self sufficient son just taking care of himself all night and not even bothering to come wake us.

Oh and does anyone know how to get glitter out of a laptop keyboard?
